Day #10 - Running A Temperature Again
Picture taken while running a low grade temperature. Its like my eyes wouldn’t open all the way.
Monday April 13th, 2020:
Monday marked the 10th day of being sick. I woke up that morning thinking that my coughing would be terrible due to the coughing attacks that occurred the day before. To my happy surprise, ZERO coughing and only a little bit of tightness in my chest. My head was still a little foggy. My vision seemed a little blurry but all those symptoms were becoming my new normal. I stayed in bed all morning. Overall I felt more tired than the day before which was disheartening.
As the early afternoon rolled around I began to cough a little and then started running a low grade temperature that ranged between 99 - 99.3. I could tell when I was running a temperature because my face felt tired and I could feel heavy circles beneath my eyes. The temperature and shitty feeling lasted from around 12pm until 5pm. As the early evening rolled around, I magically started to feel better for a few hours. The yo-yo experience of the back and forth symptoms was literally making me feel like a damn hypochondriac.
Around 7pm my breathing was wheezy but the coughing had subsided and I felt great!
Randomly enough, the coughing flared back up around 9pm. It became so bad that I reached out to my doctor who called in new Albuterol nebulizer asthma treatment medicine because the inhaler just wasn’t cutting it.
I went to bed around 11PM with no temperature. I did start to notice that the bottom of my feet and the tops of my toes were starting to itch. I just chalked it up to my feet being dry since I hadn’t worn shoes and had been practically stuck in bed for 10 days.
